Not only Costas,Theo,Georgos and Spyros but Mike "tall mike" aswell in the 27:th anniversary photos, good to see that you are looking every bit the same as whey back when! We were on crete between 1990-1997 and spent many evenings in the bar! Much love from Jacqueline "jackie" from Holland and Afrodite "afro" from Sweden that worked in The Blue Note 90-94. CommentsOMG I was on detatchment for 3 months at Souda Bay. We went to Elmundo's every night. This was back in 1985. Such great times there! CommentsI just found this web site yesterday. I was there with the Navy from Dec82 to Nov83. I recognize a couple of you guys. Had some great times at El Mondo with Sam Bernal, Rick Spriggs and Henry Negron. I remember you guys used to rent water toys at the beach in the summer, do you still? CommentsTHEO!!!! I was in the USAF 1988-1992, and Crete was always my favorite place to go TDY - because of El Mondo!!!! The friendly atmosphere, and the awesome staff made this THE BEST bar I ever went to, in all my travels. I'm out of the military now, and have a family, but someday, I hope to be able to find my way back to Crete someday, and visit the El Mondo. Thanks for the memories!!!!! Tom Bunton (a.k.a. CommentsTheo, this is Greg and Elena Allen. I hope you remember us. I was stationed there for 2 years and was shore patrol for almost a year. I also got into a lot of fights in your bar, sometimes while working, but always won, of course. I used to date Thess who worked for you. Remember? I haven't been to your site in a very long time. I left the Navy and am now an Officer in the U.S. Army. Elen and I can't wait to come back to Crete. I still talk to Stelios, but have not been able to reach Levteri at Ekentro. I am so happy to that you have kept up the website. It makes me so happy to see all your faces. Elen still talks to Eva occassionally and we miss you all very much. We always talk about coming back.
